The continued push towards shorter run lengths and full integration platforms.
What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2013 and why?
The continued contraction in the marketplace, the businesses who have adapted their companies to maximise the opportunities out of the inevitable failures will start to see the benefits from their respective strategies.
What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2013 and why?
Don’t see threats, just the challenges in continuing to change and develop, market demand is market demand.
What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2013?
Understand todays print related products requirements in the overall marketing and advertising arena.
What was your highlight of 2012?
Developing the Colour Hub offering that ESP now has, from fully integrated interactive media campaigns to W2P and digital, which in turn is allowing us to continue to develop and evolve the ESP Colour part of the group.
What are your hopes for 2013?
For us to deliver the capability we have created.
What was the most important thing that you learnt in 2012?
To continually keep ahead of the technology curve.

Stop thinking as a skill / time served trade and start to evolve, develop, embrace integration & technology.
