According to joint managing director Ian Barwick, a substantial number of the firm's clients are produce firms and growers based in Kent and Lincolnshire.
"So it made sense when we expanded out of our site in Gravesend to find a suitable site within this catchment area."
The firm is currently installing two servo-driven Nilpeter nine-colour UV flexo presses, with screen printing units.
The adapted 1,900sqm factory will create 27 jobs, the majority of which have been filled. The firm is still in the process of recruiting a director for the site in Orton Southgate.
The facility will operate 24 hours and go into full production by the end of September. As well as the new presses, the site will have in-house CTP, logistics, stock management and a design studio.
