New Inca CEO aims to affirm large-format status

The new chief executive of Inca Digital has vowed to help maintain the company's status as a "premier supplier" to the large-format printing market.

Linda Bell takes up the post at the inkjet printing specialist from 1 February, with Bill Baxter, who established the company in 2000, moving into the position of strategic technical advisory with parent group Dainippon Screen.

Bell has held senior commercial and business development roles with ICI (Imperial Chemical Industries) and has been managing director of gas analysis instrumentation manufacturer, Servomex Group.

She said: "I join at an exciting time when the company is looking to expand its global presence. Large-format printing is a growing market and we intend to remain a premier supplier.

"Market conditions are tough for everyone at the moment but with the support from our parent company Dainippon Screen, and our ability to develop market leading technology, we are in a good position."

Baxter said: "As Inca enters an important new phase of expansion, the time is right for a new CEO who can bring high-level commercial and operational experience to an international manufacturing business."

Inca chairman Nigel Puttergill added: "I am delighted to welcome Linda to Inca.

"With her considerable expertise we are extremely well-positioned to build on our solid foundations and grow our business on an international scale."
