NCS looking to add more value with PrintSmith

NCS Integrated Solutions has expanded its product range and plans additions that add value, according to sales and marketing manager Dianne Moralee.

The latest additions to are CMYK Optimizer software from Alwan and EFI's PrintSmith MIS.

 

"PrintSmith is a nice-sized product to complement our digital print business," said Moralee.

 

Other products under the "add value" banner include Press-sense iWay Prime e-procurement software.

 

To promote the firm's focus on products which complement its digital print and pre-press range it is relaunching its website. It is also looking to add wide-format printing to its product range. The firm sells wide-format "despite ourselves".

 

"We haven't capitalised on that because there's been so much else going on," said Moralee. "We're looking to build that side with an expanded sales team."

 

Alwan's CMYK Optimizer software is distributed in the UK by Applecart Solutions. It uses colour management techniques to minimise ink usage without affecting the printed result (PrintWeek, 22 July).
