A trio of new industry tenders, two worth seven figures, are currently live.

Firstly, Lincolnshire County Council has a requirement for the printing and distribution of an estimated 354,375 copies of County News magazine for residents, which is produced three times each year.

Each edition contains 24 pages and is distributed across all seven of the county's district council areas – East Lindsey, West Lindsey, City of Lincoln, North Kesteven, South Kesteven, Boston, and South Holland.

Worth £1.704m, the tender closes at 12pm on 25 August 2023. The four-year contract will then begin on 1 January 2024 and end on 1 January 2028.

Additional information on how to apply for this contract, and contact details for the buyer, are available on the government’s Contracts Finder service.

Broxtowe Borough Council, meanwhile, has a contract valued at between £100,000 to £250,000 available.

It is looking to establish a framework for the supply of digital and litho print and design requirements and said bidders who are successful will then be able to quote for contract opportunities.

The council said Liberty Leisure, its fully owned leisure operator, may also use the framework in the future.

The framework period is for four years, with the contract estimated to start on 1 October 2023 and expire on 30 September 2027. The closing date for bids is 10am on 8 September 2023.

Finally, the London Borough of Harrow and the London Borough of Barnet are seeking to put in place a joint framework agreement to appoint one or more service providers to deliver services on their behalf covering the provision of print and postage services for electoral services (elections and electoral registration).

The requirement has been divided into three lots and the council is looking for potential service providers to be awarded contracts for a period of 36 months, with an optional extension clause of 12 months in periods at the discretion of the council.

The framework agreement is valued at just over £4.96m. The tender closes at 12pm on 6 September 2023, with the contract due to start on 1 December 2023 and end on 30 November 2027.
