The Manchester-based company audited Cobbetts' printing services in order to squeeze out inefficiencies at the firm.
A new document management system was rolled out across its offices in Birmingham, Leeds, London and Manchester.
"A consolidation of the number of printers from 157 to 47, allowed a more streamlined approach to document management," said M2 Digital managing director John Taylor.
"A case-management system enabled all scanned documents to go directly into the relevant employee's system to save time.
"Since the restructure was completed eight months ago, Cobbetts has saved £45,000. The integration from front to back office has led to a 60% reduction in carbon emissions."
Paul Leyland, head of internal services at Cobbetts, added: "We were aware our print services could be improved but were surprised by how much could be saved."
