After conducting research with merchants and printers, the firm has made the reels, designed for Xeikon-driven digital presses, available in two-reels-per-pallet format.
Each reel is equivalent to more than 3,000 A4 sheets and averages 43kg-58kg in weight, so 50cm reels can be difficult to manoeuvre.
Clients previously had to order a six-reel pallet, but the flexible pallet approach allows for easier handling and transportation, as well as cutting down on the amount of storage space required.
The silver digital reels range has been approved on a range of reel-fed digital presses including the Xeikon DCP, Agfa Chromapress, Xerox DocuColor and MAN Roland DICOpress.
