Kodak plans to increase prices

Kodaks Graphic Communications Group (GCG) has announced that it will be increasing the price of its consumables at the end of 2005 as it is no longer able to absorb increasing costs.

The firm couldn't give specific figures but has said that film and conventional plates would be the most affected, with "double-digit increases".

Details will be announced over the next few weeks.
