Kiian unveils digital textile ink

Textile printing specialist Kiian Digital (B6-D65) is using Fespa to unveil a disperse digital textile ink for direct printing on machines fitted with Kyocera printheads.

Developed for fashion, flags and interior decoration applications on synthetic fabrics, the Digistar Bravo range consists of 11 colours including two blacks with high rub-resistance and light-fastness.

“Digistar Bravo has been developed with industrial textile printing requirements in mind - high runability and best-in-class printing performances," said marketing specialist Marco Girola.

“Key attributes are extremely vivid and bright colours, very intense deep blacks, excellent outline definition, quick drying, high penetration of the ink and high duration of outdoor exposure."

He did not disclose costs but said customers could buy the inks from the company's global sales network.

Sales director Alessandra Borghi added: “Digistar Bravo meets the cutting-edge demands of commercial digital textile printing; bringing together high quality inks with global support.”

Visitors to Hamburg will also see the existing ranges of sublimation digital inks for direct and transfer printing.
