Keeps Printing closes doors

Berkshire-based Keeps Printing has fallen into administration, leading to five redundancies.

Keeps Printing, which traded from a business park in Thatcham, Berkshire, appointed Elias Paourou and David Oprey of East Sussex-based CVR Global as administrators on 19 May.

Paourou said: “We were appointed administrators on 19 May 2017 and whilst trading has ceased, we are working with our agents to find a buyer for the business."

The five staff that have been made redundant include the firm’s two directors, who are listed on Companies House as being Stephen Goodwin and Claire Stevens.

PrintWeek was unable to reach Keeps Printing, which was incorporated in April 2009, for comment, but while the companies’ website is down, its Facebook page refers to the business as “Direct Mail experts” and says that it offered litho, digital and mail fulfilment services, as well as having a design studio.

In its most recent accounts for the year to 30 April 2016, Keeps Printing had a net book value of £109,519, down £30,000 from the previous year. It owed creditors £198,630 within the year and £6,811 after more than one year. A charge to Close Invoice Finance Ltd from October 2009 remains outstanding.
