According to managing director Ken Tompkin, the equipment is a response to the changing market, particularly the increased efficiencies in production and cost.
The new CTP kit will run alongside a Roland 204 four-colour press. Margins are getting increasingly tight in the short to medium run printing industry, so its crucial that we are able to compete with all levels of the competition, said Tompkin.
The Nottingham-based firm was founded in 1987 and purchased the MAKO 4 through dealer Openshaw International.
