JHP, based in Heanor, Derbyshire, operates in the folding carton market, specialising largely in the fashion retail and toiletries sectors.
Shore To Shore will transfer its Nottingham division to Heanor and is to be headed up by Shore To Shore Europe managing director Girish Naker. Both companies are likely to be fully integrated by the end of this year.
"In the UK our facilities are geared up for production of tickets and tags," said Shore To Shore UK marketing director Matt Neville. "We wanted to get into the carton market and we have worked with JHP on individual projects before."
He said that a re-branding of JHP was not on the cards at the moment but would be reviewed in six months, adding that JHP was a strong brand in the packaging sector.
US owned Shore To Shore has a global turnover of around 50m and has 27 locations all over the world.
