The e-beam curing system runs with virtually no heat going to the web, and will provide the 3025 with drying capabilities uncommon in ink-jet printing.
The cool operating environment used in e-beam curing will enable the use of a wider range of label substrates, eliminating the need for chill drums on unsupported film label presses.
Jetrion president Ken Stack said AEB's compact e-beam emitter offered an "unparalleled" curing solution.
