The Manchester-based equipment supplier has announced a contract with Swiss manufacturer RCS Roll Care Systems, meaning JanusTech is now the exclusive supplier of RCS kit in the UK and Ireland.

JanusTech had previously worked with vR Systems until the company ceased trading in December last year.

Steve Cathie, managing director at JanusTech, said: "We have been looking for a competent materials-handling partner to replace the gap in our product portfolio. RCS offers renowned Swiss manufacturing quality and a high degree of technical expertise in this area.

"JanusTech can provide total press and mailroom solutions to the newspaper industry. We will also be working with RCS to develop cost-effective materials-handling solutions for other sectors of the print industry."

RCS machines, including the roll-wrapping system, roll-handling system and labelling system, will be added to JanusTech's roster, which includes Wifag, Solna and IDAB WAMAC.
