Real weekly

Polestar Sheffield and Chantry have together printed 1m copies of ACP-NatMags new title Real People.

After 18 months' development and backed by a 6m marketing campaign, the title goes on sale today.

Sheffield has printed the 56pp text section while Chantry produced the six-colour, 4pp cover. Polestar account director Avril Deakin said: "Our experience in high-quality weekly production and our state-of-the-art facilities at Sheffield undoubtedly contributed to our success."

Real People enters into the increasingly competitive women's weekly sector against titles such as Take a Break, which had a 1.2m circulation in August's ABC's.

News International has also announced that it is to launch a weekly title, Love It, and will bundle one million sample copies with its Saturday edition of The Sun at the end of January.
