Arjowiggins' UK and Ireland marketing communications manager, James Dudney, said the company's entry into the premium-offset market signalled a strategic move for the business.
"The range will offer printers an alternative to the many coated offset papers currently on the market," he said.
Fulmar Group carried out the initial print tests on Inuit.
Managing director Keith Marley said: "Initial runs produced good results, with no technical issues."
Produced at Arjowiggins' mills in Scotland and France, Inuit is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.
It features a bespoke typeface, based on the Inuit alphabet and language from the far Northern Hemisphere, and is available in three shades of white brilliant, high and oyster and ultra-smooth and tactile finishes.
Nine weights from 80gsm to 400gsm are available, along with matching envelopes.
The range will be available exclusively through the PaperCo group of merchants.
