The Dartford-based company went into administration last month, claiming to have been hit by pulled finances.
Initially, 20 parties expressed an interest in the business, after adverts ran in PrintWeek and the Financial Times.
However, nothing concrete has come of it and Tenon is now talking to a small number of interested parties, including one made up of some of the previous directors.
Tenon director Martin Austin told PrintWeek: "Despite the adverts, there have not been many meaningful enquiries in the business. There was a large number initially, from a reasonable spread of industries but these are whittling down as we speak.
"We want to ensure we maximise the opportunity to generate a meaningful sale but obviously we are limited by the offers. I would advise anyone still interested to contact administrator Tim Dolder."
Austin added that at this stage no timeline had been set to finalise a sale.
