A one-day conference on best practice in digital artwork preparation and pre-press has been organised by the Institute of Packaging and the Institute of Printing.
The Institutes Digital Artwork Conference (IDAC) will take place next Tuesday (20 November) at the National Gallery.
"The aim of the day is to deal with digital workflow issues," said event chairman Malcolm McReath.
Sessions include "A customers perspective on the digital revolution" by Grant Courtney of GlaxoSmith-Kline, and "Digitising production all the way to press" by Boudewijn Neijens of Creo-Scitex. Two sessions will consider the merits and prospects for gravure and flexo in the packaging market.
