The Cambridge-based company has launched the Spyder 320 Q Fine Quality digital UV flatbed printer for the high-end and ‘closely viewed’ markets. It also plans to launch the enhanced Columbia Turbo machine, which uses a new formulation of Fujifilm Sericol inks.
Capable of speeds of 37sqm per hour, the Spyder 320 features a new printhead designed to deliver a fine resolution 10-picolitre drop.
Inca Digital managing director Bill Baxter said: “The new Spyder machine allows even smaller format work to be effectively tiled up with small drops delivering excellent reversed text and quality prints.”
The enhanced Columbia Turbo includes a mid-speed print mode that delivers “high-quality” print at a speed of 97sqm per hour. Fujifilm Sericol has launched new primary colours in its Uvijet range developed specifically for Inca printers.
The Columbia was unveiled in 2004 and has a maximum sheet size of 1.6x3.2m. It can print on rigid or flexible substrates of up to 40mm.
