The organiser of the Imprinta exhibition expects to be able to confirm the date of the exhibition shortly.
It is still scheduled for June 2002 to bisect Drupa's cycle, which has changed from every five to every four years, but this places Imprinta only nine weeks after Ipex 2002.
But Messe Dsseldorf project manager Manuel Matar is still considering moving its date due to its close proximity to Ipex (PrintWeek, 9 June).
Ipex was moved forward from its original slot in September 2002 to April 2002 so the NEC could provide the necessary facilities.
Matar said: "We're in the final stages of consultations with industry representatives. I think that we'll be able to make an announcement shortly.
"Our options are limited. We can either keep it where it is, move it to early 2002 or place it somewhere in early 2003," he said.
