Impress in York in liquidation

York-based Impress Creative Technology is set to go into liquidation at a meeting of creditors next month.

The packaging pre-press company is part of the German group Janoschka. Corporate recovery firm Butcher Woods has been appointed to advise and assist the directors of Impress with a view to take the company into liquidation.

There will be a meeting of creditors on 13 October when a liquidator is likely to be put in place.

Impress had a workforce of 13 and in 2004 it had sales of 1.5m (2.3m).
