Hackman Print is bringing the operations of South Western Printers into its Tonypandy base due to an increase in its book and brochure business.
The company has also spent 500,000 on a new Heidelberg B1 two-colour perfector, which will be installed in December.
"It made sense to combine the two operations, and improve our production capabilities and logistics," said joint managing director Malcolm Hackman.
The company, which is in its 50th year, will change its trading name to HSW Printers and is also looking to take on at least 10 extra staff.
Hackman bought Caerphilly-based South Western in February 2000 (PrintWeek, 18 February 2000).
