PrintWeek's Printing Company of the Year 2004 received the award from Professor Howard Dalton, chief scientific advisor to DEFRA, on Tuesday 31 May.
Nigel Hawke (pictured with Dalton), TJ International training and development officer and chair of the firm's environment committee, said that it was "amazing" to be named alongside household-name winners including Rolls-Royce and BAE Systems.
The firm won the award for a training programme for all staff which has resulted in an 80% reduction in landfill waste over the last year.
