A new Agfa ApogeeX prepress workflow suite has also been installed, which the firm claimed will make it the first fully JDF-compliant state-of-the-art plant in the UK.
The installation of the presses and building of the new unit on the existing site follows a fire at the Deeside web printer in April this year, which nearly destroyed the plant and put four of its five presses out of action.
The first of the presses, a Goss M-600D, was installed a week earlier than originally planned, and was up and running in September.
A second M-600D with high-speed sheeter and folder has also been installed.
Grapho installs two new webs
The first two of Graphoprints three Goss presses have been fitted ahead of schedule at the firms Flintshire facility.
