Gibbon Inks & Coatings has produced a new range of process inks and pressroom chemicals, which it claims will be the benchmark in print quality.
The Finaset system incorporates Finaset process inks, Finadot blankets, Finawash wash-up solution, and Finafount fount solution.
Managing director Graham Frost said: "Finaset is the generic name for a package that has been designed and manufactured to work together. We have sourced the best possible raw materials and the results speak for themselves."
Frost said the system had been extensively tested and would officially be launched on 1 January 2002. It will be available in cartridge, drum and tin containers.
"This is the first time that anyone has sold a package we think theres a big difference in quality," he added.
Frost has also been appointed to the main Sun Chemical board. He retains the helm at Gibbon. He has been with Gibbon for 17 years, becoming managing director in 1995, and oversaw its flotation and acquisition by Sun Chemical.
