The Acuity Advance and Acuity Advance X2 join the Advance HS HD3545 and HD3545 X2, but feature high-speed billboard quality modes that produce work at 35sqm per hour.
They also include 22.2sqm per hour POP quality, 15.2sqm per hour high quality and High Definition modes, the latter of which can print text sizes as small as two points.
The printers also include more efficient UV curing, a vacuum table able to handle thinner media and a zoned vacuum design so that irregular shaped or textured materials are handled accurately.
The machines also include options to be fitted with roll media equipment and the X2 differs from its sibling with double the print area of 3.05x2.5m and can handle substrates up to 48mm thick.
"The introduction of this latest series of Acuity flatbed devices demonstrates our commitment to continually advancing our product range," said Fujifilm wide-format group marketing manager Tudor Morgan. "This latest series will be shown for the very first time on our stand at Fespa Digital in May, so we are inviting printers to come along and see first-hand the improvements that have been made."
