The total number of certificates issued during the period from April to October this year amounted to 357, which include 58 in Europe alone.
In the UK during the six-month period, printers such as CTD Printers and Cox & Wyman attained FSC accreditation, as did paper merchants James McNaughton, Premier Paper and PaperCo and also paper agent Sun Paper & Board.
Meanwhile, according to the UK working group, more eucalyptus pulp has come on the market from various sources in the past year with China now supplying both hardwood and softwood kraft pulp.
