"We currently service the direct mail and packaging markets with a range of high-level post-press equipment... and the Kodak Versamark products deliver excellent results for high-quality addressing and barcoding," said Friedheim managing director Peter Morris.
The print head units are also used either on- or offline to add numbering and personalisation for tags, labels, cards and documents.
Friedheim is looking to offer the units as a value-added addition to its range of post-press kit. "The Versamark products will fall neatly under all three of our divisions: post-press, packaging and digital," said marketing manager Neil Elliott. "It fits into all our business areas."
The D-series monochrome and spot colour units are available in print widths from 25.4-108mm.
