FP closes Bang music monthly

Future Publishing in Bath has closed its music title <I>Bang</I>, citing poor sales, leading to the loss of a contract for Southernprint in Poole.

The title, launched in February, is thought to have sold less than 30,000 copies a month after being set a target of 50,000 a month.

In contrast, Polestar Chantry has picked up the contract to print Bullit, a monthly music title for the 25-40 year old music buyer.
