David Corben, formerly group business development director at bezier, will direct IDG's new business strategy. At bezier he had a hand in setting up its creative agency bluetouch.
Mandy Long will head up IDG's marketing department, having previously been group marketing director at bezier.
"Both are welcome additions to Image Data and we are convinced that given their credentials, they will make a huge impact going forward," said IDG chairman Roger Birkin. The company has also recently expanded its services into document management by acquiring Brighton-based XPS.
IDG has a turnover of 25m and has a total workforce of 300.
