To certify as a B Corp, businesses must meet comprehensive standards across the five areas of: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers.
Certified B Corps are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders across these areas, not just shareholders, ultimately balancing profit with purpose.

The certification ensures each company is committed to positive stakeholder impact for the long-term through transparency and continued verification.
According to a recent article in The Independent, over 100,000 companies have signed up to the B Corp assessment, yet to date only 6,351 have been certified worldwide, in 89 countries.
