Epson cuts price of Stylus Pro wide-format models

Epson has dropped the recommended retail price for two of its popular wide-format printers, the Stylus Pro 11880 and Stylus Pro GS6000.

The 64in large-format machines are now available for £8,995 and £18,995 respectively compared to previous listings of £9,995 and £23,500.

In addition, the manufacturer has also shaved half the price off the warranty for its Stylus Pro GS6000 machines when purchased between 1 August and 31 December this year.

The Epson Stylus Pro 11880 can print at speeds up to 35sqm an hour with a maximum substrate width of 123cm. It can output at a resolution of 2,880x1,440dpi and uses Epson's UltraChrome K3 ink with Vivid Magenta.

Epson's Stylus Pro GS6000 offers print speeds of up to 25sqm an hour at resolutions of up to 1,440dpi.

Martin Johns, senior product manager for Epson UK, said: "With attractive new prices for our 64in LFP range, graphic arts professionals are being offered the impressive quality, flexibility, speed and reliability of Epson, at an extremely attractive price."
