Embassy eyes bigger savings with Rampage

Embassy Press (London) is boasting savings in cost, waste and materials after implementing its new Fuji Rampage Open Workflow.

"It reduces printing errors and increases quality," said director Colin Hatton, who wired up the firm's Sussex branch.

"It decreases wastage and makes cost savings in film, plates, press downtime and overtime. This is all because the plates are more accurate first time."

"We have found the monitor proofs and trapping excellent and the quality superb," added Hatton who said the kit was the first step towards a move into CTP.

"Our content is now predictable and under control, reducing waste and making life a lot easier," said Hatton.

Embassy Press prints stationery, business cards and company brochures. "Our work involves a lot of heavy inking and so object-based trapping is invaluable," he added.
