Durst launches ink recycling scheme

Durst has introduced larger ink containers and free collection and disposal of waste ink for its Rho printers to offer improved environmental credentials and to lower its customers' costs.

The waste ink collection and disposal has been launched in the UK, and it is expected that other Durst offices will roll out the service in the near future. Businesses taking part in the scheme will be eligible for a credit for waste ink up to a maximum of 5% of the total purchase.

Durst has also introduced a larger 5l ink packs to minimise packaging.

The move is in line with Durst's environmental strategy, which includes being the only digital ink approved by the Nordic Swan environmental standard.
