Durst launches high-speed corrugated printer

Durst has launched its Rho 750 HS Corrugated machine at the Corrugated Display and Packaging Summit in Austria.

Billed as the world's only UV printer optimised for corrugated work, the new version is claimed to be 80% more productive than its predecessor.

It also houses twice the number of nozzles in its Quadro Array 30D printhead, enabling print speeds of up to 180sqm/hr.

The Rho 750 can print on coated/uncoated stock and pre-printed media, and can handle white underprint, special effects varnish and direct to single-faced corrugated material work.

According to Durst, it is fitted with a fully automated feeder and stacker system to reduce load times, and the transport system has been improved with stronger vacuum pumps and edge holders.

It is aimed at short-run work for high-quality displays and packaging.
