Domino sells A series number 50,000 to Italy

Ink-jet printer manufacturer Domino has shipped out its 50,000th A-Series printer from its Cambridge factory.

It recently sent the printer, which it has been producing since 1998, to Italian distributor Nimax. The printer is used in applications including mailing, binding, finishing, tickets and tags.

"The key change over the past six years has been the constant improvement in production efficiency, which has increased the rate of workflow from order intake through to dispatch," said Domino group manufacturing director Dave Cope, pictured left with manufacturing director Paul Lynch and team leader Belinda Pryor.

He added: "This is a milestone for Domino. It is testament to the team effort of Domino staff and our distributors worldwide."
