Manufacturing director Paul Lynch and plant manager Rachel Hurst accepted the award on behalf of the company, which was also highly commended in the Best Electronic and Electrical Plant category.

The companys A-series printer was introduced in 1997 and company output has doubled since then. Printers can be made to order (including batches of one) and typical lead times are 10 days. Last year, Domino produced 11,000 A-series printers, including 3,500 variations.
Dominos printers have a wide range of applications, including applying date stamps and codes to products ranging from eggs to window frames.
Exports make up the majority of the companys order book. About 85% of its products are destined for overseas.
The company was formed over 20 years ago and has a turnover of over 153m.
