St Ives Direct has finalised the new site for DisplayCraft after a lengthy search.
The point-of-sale and fulfilment business will move into a new 6,040m2 unit on the Optima Park industrial estate in Crayford, Kent, that was originally built for now-defunct Rival Envelopes.
"This is a bigger factory, a much more efficient space, and the location is good logistically in relation to our other operations at Romford and Edenbridge," said St Ives Direct managing director David McGolpin.
DisplayCraft has sales of about 8m and employs 120. St Ives is investing 6m in acquiring the factory, and plans a 2m spend on a new four-colour screen press and new large-format digital kit.
"It is very much a vote of confidence in what this business can do," McGolpin added.
