Dims! secures first deal in UK

Dutch MIS firm Dims! has made its first UK sale, to Leeds-based display print and photographic firm Chromagene.

Chromagene first saw the software at Drupa where it had been looking for a new accounting package.

The firm has chosen a full system including order management, purchasing, inventory and shipping modules. It will use the web browser-based package to integrate its factory in Leeds with its London office.

"We recently moved from one location into two, making it even more difficult to control all processes both on a production and administrative level," said Chromagene financial director John Foster (pictured left). "Dims! keeps track of the whole order flow all on an enterprise-wide level."

Dims! business development manager Steve Green (pictured right) said: "It's great news. I wouldn't classify Chromagene as a general commercial printer, but our software is very versatile and as well as our core market is also suited to display graphics."
