I am currently working on a dissertation for a business degree and have chosen to do an evaluation of corporate strategies used within organisations in the print management sector. Can you suggest any sources/contacts for information?

The BPIF would be a good place to start, and corporate affairs director Andrew Brown (020 7915 8370) said he’d talk to you about what he described as an “evolving sector”. Pira produces market reports (01372 802025) and might be able to put you in touch with the author of the latest PM report (email stephen.hill@pira-international.com). The ever-friendly Simon Biltcliffe, managing director of print management firm Webmart, has invited you to his Bicester-based office (email simon.biltcliffe@webmartuk.com). He currently employs a student through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme (with an MSc in international business), who could offer you an academic perspective. Former Charterhouse managing director Mike Newman, who recently set up his own consultancy, is happy for you to call him. Andrew Pearce, chief executive of the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA) is also happy to help: 01509 600242. Also, check out the websites of print management plcs TripleArc (www.triplearcplc.com) and Communisis (www.communisis.com), as they often talk about corporate strategies in company reports.
I am looking for a finishing firm in the Cheltenham/Gloucestershire area. I have 14,000 booklets pre-printed, but our own old Duplo machine has decided to die on us. All the pages are printed in the correct order for a Duplo-style machine. Any advice on who could do this as a one-off for a reasonable price?

Duplo’s UK marketing manager Peter Jolly very kindly found a Gloucester-based firm with a Duplo System 2000. Inky Little Fingers (great name) is happy to help. Call Laurence Felton on 01452 751139.
EASTER EGGS #2
I’m sure all of your Easter promotions are already half-eaten by clients, but someone’s been in touch about branding logos onto eggs. For future client-sweeteners, visit: www.groovychocolate.com.I’m sure all of your Easter promotions are already half-eaten by clients, but someone’s been in touch about branding logos onto eggs.
