The Bristol firm will keep the ICG brand name and is setting up a manufacturing line that should be operational by the end of the year, and will be capable of producing 40 ICG scanners a year. Dcs also distributes the complete range of Esko-Graphics flatbed scanners.
Dcs managing director Andr Fletcher said the company was working on upgrades and new models of ICG drum scanners but would not provide further details.
We plan to put the ICG brand back where it belongs at the very top. We are scanner-orientated. Last year we recruited several key members of staff from ICG, said Fletcher.
The ICG range will continue to be targeted at the professional photographic and graphic design sectors.
