The CR2000 has an output speed of 2,000ppm in duplex mode at 8.5x11in, with a resolution of 600dpi.
It uses electron beam imaging (EBI), claiming it has less edge distortion and better image control than traditional laser imaging.
The CR2000 will be launched with a list price of 484,000 ($900,000).
