Oc unveiled its first UV-cured ink-jet, the flatbed Arizona T220UV, for PoS and exhibition print production.
It can print at up to 15.8m2 per hour at 600dpi onto a range of material from foam board to PVC sheets and vinyl.
Also launched was the UV-cured Arizona 60UV, a sign printer for flexible media. It has a speed of 5.1m2 per hour at 600dpi and costs 33,600 (50,000).
Ocs new Arizonas reflect the trend towards flatbed and UV-cured inks to migrate to lower cost and lower volume machines.
For commercial print the firm launched the CPS 900, an update to the CPS 700. The CPS900 prints at 30 A4 or 15 A3 pages per minute and has a choice of two EFI Fiery controllers.
For high volume monochrome print the VarioStream 9000 is a continuous feed duplex printer, offering highlight colour as an option. It is capable of 1,700 A5ppm at 600dpi.
Midlands-based document management company Inkfish Services is one of the first UK users, buying a VarioStream 9210.
