CPI UK renews contract with J&G Environmental

Book printer CPI UK has renewed its waste management contract with J&G Environmental for a further two years.

The contract extension will see print waste recycling specialist J&G continue to collect, recycle and dispose of all general print waste from CPI’s six UK-based print sites.

CPI UK group commercial manager Alan Cray said: "We have a firm and long-term commitment to reduce our environmental impact without compromising quality and service.

"By continually monitoring our waste generation jointly with J&G we have been able to minimise CPI UK's ecological footprint and keep disposal costs down."

Dorset-based J&G claims to look after the waste disposal needs of around 2,000 print companies and that it can recycle around 95% of waste collected.

The company has an ongoing development programme which aims to increase the amount of waste recycled or reused.
