ColourScript, the London Docklands-based repro house, has invested in Agfa Apogee workflow including Apogee Create for some clients.
Dennis Publishing and Ministry of Sound are the first customers to switch to creating their own PDF files to ColourScripts specification using Apogee Create.
"As soon as we can be 100% PDF the better," said managing director Steve Williams. "The more we can help publishers go PDF the less likely they are to do it themselves."
Apogee Create has streamlined the firms workflow, cutting down on problem files, although Williams praised Apogee Pilots ability to pick up problem files.
"With Apogee it feels like were back in control with PDF its like having a bit of film," he said.
