Last week charity marketing specialist Whitewater was chosen to handle its below-the-line marketing activity replacing the incumbent agency Target Direct. It had previously handed its printing activity to its parent company Target Direct Print.
The agency confirmed that it would be handling the print contract but no decision would be taken on it as the work is currently in the planning stages.
The decision to award individual print contracts has always been with the agency we appoint. This year we plan to increase the amount of direct mail we do substantially, said a Christian Aid spokesman.
Whitewater will be responsible for developing direct mail, inserts and door drops. The agencys other clients include Age Concern, Amnesty International and the RSPCA.
