Century Litho is banking on a prosperous new year after winning a major contract for 16m leaflets and buying a 250,000 CTP system.
The firm in Penryn, Cornwall, won the job from the conservatory company, Penzance's Baltic Pine Timber Corporation.
It will print the leaflets in three jobs on a four-colour Komori System 40 web, which produces 44,000 leaflets an hour.
"It's a complicated job involving stocking, packing and organising the mailings for distribution centres," said group sales director Alan Lamper. "There's been lots of doom and gloom in the industry but we have had a good six months. This is good for the West Country."
The contract was worth around 100,000, he said.
Century Litho, which has 100 staff and 8m turnover, recently installed one of the first Fuji Luxel P-9600 fully automatic CTP systems in the UK.
It produces 27 Fuji plates an hour and replaced an older Agfa system.
Century Litho is the biggest supplier of tourist attraction leaflets in the country, said Lamper.
Last July, it closed Century Litho Horsham, but had toughed out difficulties, and was looking forward to a record year for tourism, Lamper said.
