Celloglas has moved operations from its Lutterworth and South Wigston factories into a 1,580m2 site in Leicester.
Some 32 employees will move to the new site, but four volunteered for redundancy due to the distance to the new site in Leicesters Meridian Business Park.
The site will offer laminating and finishing, as well as a new set of products. These will include grained varnish, pearlescent laminating films, fragrance-burst varnish and sparkle varnish.
Celloglas has been developing the products for the last three months. "We had to check that there were no deficiencies that would bite us on the bum six months down the line," said Celloglas director of sales and marketing Mike Favell.
The firm has installed a Screenspot UV machine and a Billhfer laminator.
