The Wisbech company received an Innovation Award for its development work on polypropylene cartons. It held a special event attended by customers, suppliers, local dignitaries and the firms staff who were all presented with a commemorative medal.
It is testament to the tenacity and dedication of the team, working together as a unit, said managing director Jon Allen.
Guests toured PlasTecs immaculate 3,000m2 plant the company has BRC/IOP category B status for food packaging. It has recently installed a new six-colour Speedmaster CD74 and updated its CTP facilities with an Esko-Graphics PlateDriver 4. Finishing was also boosted with a new Bobst SP Evoline die-cutter and a Kawahara TXR800 blank separator the first of its kind in the UK.
