Capital MD McDowell sells up

Capital Print Finishing has been sold to Charta Group Holdings.Managing director Gerry McDowell decided to sell the Greenwich-based trade finishing house and to take early retirement.

"After 25 years I decided it was time to get round the golf course and see a few sunny beaches," said McDowell.

Charta Group Holdings is owned by David Robinson and Ian Lambert, who run a laminating firm in Old Woking.

Works director Ted Parry remains with the firm as works manager and will handle the day-to-day running of the 10-staff firm.

It produces a range of general print finishing specialising in loop wire stitching and miniature folding.
